Know yourself
The new year is a time of reflection, making goals, and setting yourself up for success. We all know that new years resolutions are more than just saying we are going to make a change. A true change involves strategizing, planning, making lists, and following through on the promises we make to ourselves. It involves accepting who we are, recognizing our strengths, and planning for our weaknesses. A true change also involves surrounding yourself with others who will help you on the path to achieving your goals. Once we realize what our strengths are, we can use a network of individuals to make up for our weaknesses.
two heads are better than one
We believe that you started a business because you are good at what you do. We know that our strengths lie with organizing, strategizing, and implementing changes that are necessary for growth. We know what we know—and you know what you know. We believe that when we come together, we can share practices, knowledge, and procedures that can benefit BOTH parties.
We could just sell you a one-size-fits-all software and call it a day. But we know better than that. We know that we can’t make the perfect custom software for your business without you and your input. We know that two heads are better than one. And we know that we can still improve and grow along with our clients.
put some thought into it
In the last few weeks of this year, we challenge you to reflect on 2016. Celebrate your success and learn from your failures. Educate yourself. Take matters into your own hands. Realize where your weaknesses are and reach out for help. Keep moving forward.
In the next few weeks, we will be running a business blog series outlining our reflections, plans, tips and more for this upcoming year. We encourage you to take 2017 by the horns—we know we will!
President and founder of DVI, Aaron Boerger realized early in life that he had a unique combination of x-ray vision and business acumen for seeing the weaknesses that held businesses back – and the ability to define the right tools, technology and strategy to make them stronger.
From founding a successful technology support business in his early teens, to serving as Chief Operating Officer for several companies in the financial, technology and marketing industries, Aaron has developed a reputation for reinventing technology implementation tactics – and the willingness to tell people not what they want to hear, but what they need to hear, in order to achieve success without overwhelm.
Aaron will always go the extra mile to provide the accountability and support his clients need to achieve their goals, yet isn’t afraid to tell them when they are doing something wrong.
