Plan ahead
The further into December, the higher the stress. Make sure that you take the time NOW to plan the next month out. The holidays can be chaotic and employees get distracted. Take this into account as you plan the next month.
Offer discounts to customers
The holidays are a great time to run promotions and offer discounts for your customers. Strategize with your marketing team now to plan the rest of your month. If you are able to, incorporate giving back to the community along with the promotion. This provdides a reminder for customers to pay it forward.
Post availability early
If you are a small business or an entrepreneur, make sure you let your clients and customers know well in advance your holiday availability. Plan ahead to ensure that your customers will be taken care of while you are away.
Be flexible
Flexibility during the holidays is key. Your employees may be stressed about their personal circumstances, so adding stress at work may cause a dip in morale. Make sure you have reasonable expectations for your employees so they can enjoy the holidays. Also, make sure that your customer service is top-notch during the holidays. Keep it positive and put out good energy. Be flexible with discounts, service, and work with your clients to meet their needs.

President and founder of DVI, Aaron Boerger realized early in life that he had a unique combination of x-ray vision and business acumen for seeing the weaknesses that held businesses back – and the ability to define the right tools, technology and strategy to make them stronger.
From founding a successful technology support business in his early teens, to serving as Chief Operating Officer for several companies in the financial, technology and marketing industries, Aaron has developed a reputation for reinventing technology implementation tactics – and the willingness to tell people not what they want to hear, but what they need to hear, in order to achieve success without overwhelm.
Aaron will always go the extra mile to provide the accountability and support his clients need to achieve their goals, yet isn’t afraid to tell them when they are doing something wrong.
